Atsas Organic Products Limited is a Cypriot family-run business that was created 6 years ago to regenerate and revive life in the UN buffer zone behind the occupied village of Petra, where our family has its genealogical roots. The vision was to use the discipline of regenerative farming to create a sustainable agricultural ecosystem and at the same time to produce products of the highest quality. Our olive trees are planted in rocky barren land but on soil that has been untouched by human activity (cultivation, chemicals, and so on). The main objective of our company is to always strive towards the highest quality possible both in our final products and in our farming practices. Our main crop is the olive tree but as we are creating an environment to mimic a natural ecosystem through careful observation of the land, we are growing many supportive species to increase biodiversity.
The Awards: Atsas olive oil is analyzed and certified by the University of Athens and the World Olive Center for Health; the latter is using a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance machine which gives the most accurate way of measuring the biochemistry of olive oil. Our Limited Edition of High Phenolic Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil was awarded the Gold Standard of Excellence at the Olympia Health and Nutrition Awards in 2016/17/18, a Double Gold Medal at the Aristoleo High Phenolic Awards in 2017 and triple Gold in 2018, and currently holds the World Record for the Highest Phenolic content and highest Oleocanthal content in olive oil for the years 2016,17 18, 19, and 2020, certified by the World Olive Center for Health.
