"Laudemio" Value and Quality.
The "Laudemio" extra virgin olive oil of the Marchesi de 'Frescobaldi owes its name to the fact that in medieval times the name Laudemio indicated the part of the harvest reserved for the lord, owner of the land. He was offered the best part of the harvest called “Laudemio”, whose name has since been synonymous with value and quality.

Laudemio is an oil from the Chianti Classico zone with an extremely low acidity for Tuscany (0.14%), since the olives for it are selected with the same care as for DOCG wines. Laudemio is owned by the famous Italian wine house Antinori. In the Middle Ages, the term "laudemio" was used to describe the rent of the best products, which the vassal gave to his master.
