Frescobaldi Laudemio Extra Virgin Olive Oil Harvest 2025 is remarkably emerald green and brilliant as a real jewel.
It is crafted from the purest cold-pressing of perfectly whole Frantoio, Moraiolo, and Leccino olives from the family’s property in the hills surrounding Florence. It has elegant aromas of green olives and green apples, and it’s loaded with scents of fresh greens, such as wild arugula.
Laudemio Frescobaldi Robust & Grassy Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil
It's robust with bold aromas of freshly mown grass and notes of artichoke and green olive.
The taste is decidedly Tuscan: lots of artichoke, thistle, kale, cardoon, and other green vegetables. It is very clean and has an outstanding herbal bitterness on the palate with a long-lasting pleasant spiciness. The Laudemio is truly sparkling green!
Laudemio Tasting Notes
Laudemio Frescobaldi is a powerful extra virgin olive oil naturally rich in polyphenols, with a bright, emerald green color, a scent of cut grass and artichoke, and an intense and pleasantly spicy flavor. This year, the aromatic profile is extremely rich, with great olfactory breadth, hints typically linked to the Tuscan territory, opening heart of artichoke and green olive, followed by a note of freshly mown grass. The flavor is characterized by an extraordinary balance between bitter, spicy and fruity.
"Laudemio" Value and Quality.
The "Laudemio" extra virgin olive oil of the Marchesi de 'Frescobaldi owes its name to the fact that in medieval times the name Laudemio indicated the part of the harvest reserved for the lord, owner of the land. He was offered the best part of the harvest called “Laudemio”, whose name has since been synonymous with value and quality.
Extremely low acidity for Tuscany (0.14%),
This oil has a pleasant taste, is rich in vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids and is an excellent dressing for any dish, but is generally not used for frying. Laudemio is an oil from the Chianti Classico zone with an extremely low acidity for Tuscany (0.14%), since the olives for it are selected with the same care as for DOCG wines. Laudemio is owned by the famous Italian wine house Antinori. In the Middle Ages, the term "laudemio" was used to describe the rent of the best products, which the vassal gave to his master.
Variety of olives (80% Frantoio, 10% Leccino and 10% Moraiolo)

This is the best olive oil I have found. I order 2 liters every January for myself.
This oil, among other diet and lifestyle changes, was a part of me losing over 100 pounds in one year. While all good olive oil is better than industrial and seed oils (for me), this one is my favorite!
Hint: Always use Olympicco. They ship the newest harvest before all of last years harvest is sold and other vendors hold the newest oil until they sell out of the previous year.
Look for the November 2023 harvest bottle in the photo for the current harvest.

Is there a Certificate of Analysis like you have on Astas? I would like to know polyphenols and olecanthal? Also shoul the bottle be stored in dark since it is in a clear one and would degrade health benefits.
Dear, Customer. The Frescobaldi Laudemio Certificate of Analysis has been uploaded to the product section in response to your question. You will find it as an attachment.
